How Our Training Works
Becoming a training center means far more than just hosting classes—it positions your organization as a hub for life-saving knowledge in your community. You’ll have the ability to equip local leaders, staff, and community members with practical medical skills that can make the difference between life and death in emergencies. These skills not only strengthen resilience and trust within your community, but also open new opportunities for ministry and outreach, as you’re able to serve people in both their physical and spiritual needs.
As a certified training center, you’ll have ongoing access to SOLO Cambodia’s curriculum, resources, and support systems, enabling you to run courses regularly and reach people far beyond your immediate network. This creates a multiplying effect—each person you train carries their knowledge into their families, villages, and workplaces, expanding your organization’s impact across Cambodia.
How It Works
Becoming a certified SOLO Cambodia training center is simple, free to host, and fully supported by our team. You schedule your course online, set your participant fee, and register students in our system to generate their Student IDs and prepare certification cards.
We provide the course materials, we train your certified instructor, and we offer training on how to integrate faith naturally during the class.
After the course, you submit student results, and we handle the certification process, issuing official SOLO Cambodia ID cards to each graduate.

We recommend charging a nominal fee for the VFA course, and standard fees for the other courses. This fee is yours to do with as you are led.

Training Center Requirements
To become a certified SOLO Cambodia Training Center, we ask that you meet the following requirements:
Have at least one fluent English speaker on staff (ideally two) who can take our instructor course and communicate effectively with our team.
Identify at least two people who will complete our instructor training and lead courses at your center.
Have the ability for regularly offering courses—either by bringing participants to your center or sending your instructors to other locations.
Be fully committed to the vision of SOLO Cambodia, empowering communities, and making Jesus known through this program.

Log into our easy‑to‑use online portal and pick the date that works best for your community. We’ll help you confirm an instructor and make sure you have everything you need. It costs you nothing to put a course on your calendar.
As the hosting training center, you decide what to charge participants (if anything). This can help you cover costs, raise funds for your organization, or make the training free for those who need it most.
These are the costs for each type of course you can offer.
This is what we recommend charging, and why.
Register your students in our online portal before the course begins. This generates a unique Student ID number for each participant and prepares their official SOLO Cambodia certification card in advance.
We provide official SOLO Cambodia training materials, student workbooks, and testing resources, and sign off on the certification cards you need. You simply order what you need through our system and everything is organized and shipped to you.
On training day, your certified SOLO Cambodia instructor will lead the course, guide hands‑on practice sessions, and prepare students for real‑world situations. You collect the fees either now, or prior depending on whats best for you.
We train our instructors in several ways to communicate faith effectively throughout the course. We also help them understand which scenarios work best for each approach so that the organization and instructor can decide together the most appropriate methods for each class.
At the end of the course, students complete their skills testing and in courses outside of the VFA courses, a written exam. You or the instructor will submit their results to our system.
We handle all the paperwork. Once you’ve confirmed the course is complete, we’ll finalize their records and reflect that they are an official SOLO Cambodia graduate.

Our system is designed to be less than 10 minutes of prep time for your organization for each course that you put on, while maintaining proper records for us, for you, and for your supporters.
